ASRY receives United States Ambassador

The Chairman of the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY), Aymen bin Tawfeeq Almoayed, has recently received the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Steven C. Bondy. The meeting took place on February 5th at the company headquarters in Hidd with the attendance of ASRY’s Executive Management.

The Chairman welcomed the US Ambassador by praising the distinguished bilateral relations binding the two friendly countries and commended the Embassy’s exceptional efforts in supporting the frameworks of joint cooperation. Additionally, several topics of mutual interest were discussed, exchanging experiences in various fields and levels to advance cooperation that serves both parties.

The visit also involved a brief presentation summarising ASRY’s foundation, operations, and development stages.  This was followed by a tour to ASRY’s facilities that aimed to introduce ASRY’s activities and operations as well as present ASRY’s competitive level of professionalism.  ASRY is recognised as the leading maritime repair and fabrication facility in the region, and one of the pillars of Bahrain’s national economy.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation for the generous hospitality, emphasising the significance of strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing joint cooperation to maintain close cooperative ties between the two countries.
